After concluding my work with Enactus, I founded Cosmo, LLC, a consulting agency that operates at the intersection of cross-border mobility, regulation, and business needs.

2013 Market Entry

Cosmo initially focused on immigration and visa support, shaped by my first-hand traveling experience. I helped compatriots with non-immigration visa applications to almost every country and consulted foreigners on Russian immigration regulations.

2014-2018 Expansion

In response to client demand, expanded Cosmo's offerings into corporate, tax, and regulatory advisory for growth-stage companies.

2019-2022 Digital Pivot & Scale

During the COVID-19 period, I identified a rapid shift toward digital-first markets and led a strategic pivot to support IT and FinTech startups with regulatory strategy, business structuring, and cross-border expansion. I transitioned the firm to a fully remote operating model, materially reducing fixed costs while expanding geographic reach. As a result, Cosmo scaled its annual revenue by 10×, serving clients expanding into markets including Central Asia, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia.

2023 Executive Transition

I transitioned from an executive role to a limited advisory capacity to focus full-time on sustainable energy and climate-focused industries.

REFLECTION

Over a decade of building Cosmo, I experienced the full cycle of entrepreneurship—growth, mistakes, sharp downturns, and hard-won progress. As the business evolved, I recognized that my own scope was expanding beyond the company’s next phase. Stepping back was not an exit from responsibility, but a deliberate decision to apply my entrepreneurial experience to a broader set of challenges.
