Project Summary

In 2025, automobile engineers Jafar Makrani and Lyle Antieau, both with mechanical engineering backgrounds, founded Agami Zero to address range anxiety and off-grid energy challenges. They developed the first portable liquid hydrogen-powered charging system designed for remote and rural communities. Agami Zero pioneers scalable clean energy solutions aimed at bridging infrastructure gaps with sustainable and financially viable alternatives where traditional energy sources are insufficient.

I joined the team through the New Venture Launch course at CU Boulder’s Leeds School of Business, contributing for four months as the sustainability lead. Currently, Agami Zero is actively raising venture capital and has joined the TechUp Summer 2025 Incubator at the Jake Jabs Center for Entrepreneurship at CU Denver.

My Role

Provided sustainability expertise on the green hydrogen supply chain and carbon credits, and supported the development of a compelling VC pitch deck tailored for impact- and tech-focused investors; organized and facilitated regular team meetings.

Project Deliverables

  • Developed a VC-ready pitch deck and presented it at the New Venture Challenge (Deep Tech category)

  • Built an alpha prototype of the product to demonstrate core functionality and technical feasibility

  • Patent pending

Note: Some of the details of the pitch deck are confidential and cannot be publicly shared due to a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) with the client. As a result, some pages have been intentionally blurred or removed. For more information, please contact Jafar Makrani or Lyle Antieau directly.
